Black-and-white processing and supervised bench time
Photo Source Book processes black-and-white 35mm, 120, and 4x5 film, makes contact sheets and standard proof scans, and rents two community darkroom stations to people who have completed orientation.
Standard black-and-white processing is ready in 3 business days. Contact sheets add 1 business day during school term peaks in September, October, February, and March. Same-day promises are not offered during school term.
Film is processed, sleeved, and returned without contact sheet or scan.
Sheet film is handled by email quote so format, sheet count, holder notes, and deadline are clear before drop-off.
Built for editing, filing, and course review, not for final exhibition files.
Tell us the stop change at drop-off. Unmarked rolls run at box speed.
Standard proof scans are for editing and filing. They are not drum-scan replacements, wet-mount scans, retouching files, or a substitute for a clean darkroom print.
Community darkroom bench rental is $16.00 per hour or $42.00 for a 3-hour block. The room has two enlarger stations. Maximum use is two people per station so trays, timers, and wash space do not turn into a traffic jam.
First-time darkroom orientation is required before the first booking. Orientation costs $25.00 and is credited against the first rental if booked the same week.
Book processing drop-off questions and darkroom bench time by email only at hello@photosourcebook.com. There is no contact form; use the Contact page checklist so film format, quantity, deadline, and phone details stay searchable.
